The plants at Lyn and Malcolm's Garden

Monarda 'Cambridge Scarlet'

Review Notes: Good for attracting bees, and grows in any position. We do spray for mildew at a time late in the day, despite this plant being one of the better for mildew resistance. Has the fullest head of flowers of all the Monarda's in our garden. All Monardas tend to run a bit, but are easily controlled by pulling up the runners which grow our from the plant base. The runners are in the top surface of the soil.

Plant Type:- Perennial
Colour:- Bright Red
Flowering Period:- Jul to Sep
